Taking A Break

I'm sure some of you are curious as to why I haven't done any new kits lately, so I thought I'd explain. My husband owns his own fencing company and since hurricane Ike blew through here recently, he's just been swamped with work. He has several crews that go out each day to take care of the fence work while he sits here on the computer taking calls, drawing up layouts in AutoCAD, doing estimates, invoices, etc... So needless to say I'm not getting much computer time right now. Hopefully once things settle down again I'll be able to get back to creating. Thanks for being patient with me! :)

My Kits

Well, after much thought I've decided to leave the store where I have been selling my kits. The designers there are wonderful people and my leaving has nothing whatsoever to do with them. I still highly recommend that store to everyone. :)

With everything going on in real life I'm not sure how often I'll be able to create these kits for you guys. So by selling here on my blog, I can move at my own pace and not have to worry about living up to a store's expectations. I'm sure you can all understand.

Well, today I had a really nice birthday. I went over to my parent's house for lunch and now we're home and about to watch a movie we rented. I finished up the final touches on my newest kit and I hope to have it up for you tomorrow. It's got 74 elements and 32 papers, so it's the biggest kit I've done so far. I hope everyone likes it. I did a preview, but I'm not real happy with it, lol. I will redo it tomorrow and then get it posted for you guys. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! :)

First Scrapkit - Romantics

I've been psp'ing for around 2 years now and I absolutely love it. I decided I wanted to try out something different though, so I've been playing around some in Photoshop making scraps. Kristi over at Exotic Divaz Designz has been giving scrap lessons and has tought me so much, so a big thank you to her. Anyway, here's my first kit. It took me hours to make, but I'm quite proud of how it turned out. I hope you all like it. :)
